 Floating Booms

Our floating barriers are designed to offer performance, durability and ease of use.

Material

  • Made from permeable woven PVC, they naturally prevent water from accumulating inside.

Section format

  • Available in 60-foot sections , allowing for flexible installation tailored to your needs.

Junction system

  • Each section is equipped with three-hole aluminum plates at each end, ensuring a strong, fast, and secure connection between modules.

Below you will find the different models available.

BF9

The BF9 floating barrier is the most popular model among producers.

With its 1-inch thickness and its

With a total height of 9 inches , it offers exceptional maneuverability on the water. Equipped with a 4-inch high float , it ensures optimal buoyancy. The integrated chain serves a dual purpose: it provides traction for the barrier and acts as a keel, helping to keep the barrier upright during deployment in fields.

The result: a high-performance solution, easy to handle and perfectly suited to harvesting operations.

BF9C

The BF9C is the improved version of our BF9 barrier. Designed after numerous observations made directly in the field, it retains the same practical dimensions.

- a 1 inch thick , 9 inches high , and a 4-inch float —.

Problem observed in the field

During harvesting, the pull of the fruit exerts strong pressure on the upper part of the barrier. This force changes the angle of attack of the barrier and can cause it to pass under the load of fruit, reducing its effectiveness and making deployment less optimal.

Solution provided: the BF9C

To correct this behavior, we added a steel cable to the top of the barrier.

This cable, fully coated in PVC to prevent corrosion, allows you to:

- Maintain a stable and appropriate angle of attack , regardless of the load.

- Prevent the barrier from sinking under the fruit.

Thanks to this targeted improvement, BF9C now surpasses BF9 and has established itself as the preferred choice of producers.

BF11

The BF11 is a barrier designed for heavy-duty work. With a total height of 11 inches and a float 2 inches thick by 6 inches high , it offers significantly superior buoyancy, ideal for heavy loads.

This increased capacity comes with certain compromises: greater weight and increased rigidity, which reduces maneuverability. However, this same rigidity provides exceptional control over the fruit mass , a major advantage during heavy harvests.

In summary, the BF11 is the robust barrier that does not back down from any large harvest.

Traction belt

Our traction belts are a superior replacement for the ropes used in the past, offering greater comfort and improved ergonomics for workers pulling booms in the water.

Made with a 4-inch cargo strap for better load distribution, they incorporate a sturdy plate with a carabiner for easy attachment to the boom.

Simple. Comfortable. Efficient.

Carrying strap

Our transport straps are designed to simplify the handling of booms during harvests and optimize organization and storage in warehouses.
They offer time savings, greater comfort for workers and improved durability in demanding working conditions.

Plate float

  • We have added floats to our connections to provide more stable, consistent and efficient barriers on the water.

  • Plate floats can be added to existing booms to correct stability or buoyancy problems.
